Project Descript:

Loyalist College is one of Ontario’s leading community colleges since 1967. Situated in Belleville, along the shores of Lake Ontario, the college is recognized and for its strong pioneering presence and community resolve.

The Master Plan addresses the College’s enrolment pressures and academic program growth, outlines the long-term space requirements for the Wallbridge Road Campus and proposes a space planning framework to guide future decisions. This includes the re-organization of space for key departments, the development of a Student Service Hub, and the rejuvenation of the Pioneer Building.

The Design Scheme and Layouts for a New Student Service Centre is derived from the demand for an improved Student hub that adopts a “One stop shop” model. The main entrance lobby is converted and incorporated as part of the main service centre, new systems furnishings and lighting provide for a better office environment, and the result is a fresh and up-to-date College image.
