Project Descript:

Centennial College is one of Toronto’s main city colleges with four campuses serving a wide local and international population. The College has undergone many past academic and operational changes resulting in poor facilities and program delivery and an out-dated image.

The Strategic Space Plan provides a 5-year planning proposal for the College that reconciles its vision and identity, and redefines the spaces on all campuses by integrating or consolidating academic and administrative departments into existing or new space.

The Public Space Design project transforms the key public areas at the main Progress Campus into unified, attractive, and modern spaces within circulation spines. Decorative panels animate hallways with colour and pattern, coordinated furnishings allow for attractive student gathering places, and a continuous bulkhead unites the hallways.

The Student Service Centre Layout converts the central spaces of two floors of the Progress Campus into a Student Services Hub. Services are relocated to a more suitable and functional location that provides for a central, welcoming and vibrant, front-door student hub.
